High-traffic betting, live casino, and travel platforms with crypto rails

Senior engineering at Haftcin across two parallel platforms. A real-time betting and live-casino product on Vue 2 and Electron, plus a hotel and flight booking platform on React Native, both wired to cryptocurrency payment rails.

The problem

Haftcin ran two distinct high-traffic surfaces with overlapping engineering needs. The betting and live-casino product required real-time updates and a desktop-grade experience; the parallel travel product needed end-to-end booking flows on mobile. Both surfaces needed payment rails, including cryptocurrency, that could move money fast and predictably.

Constraints

  • Real-time pricing and game-state updates with low latency
  • Cryptocurrency payment integration with predictable settlement
  • Two distinct frontends sharing engineering practice without sharing code where it does not fit
  • Cross-platform mobile delivery on a single codebase where reasonable

What I built

  • 01Built the betting and live-casino platforms on Vue 2 with Electron.js for desktop deployment
  • 02Directed the end-to-end travel booking platform for hotels and flights on React Native
  • 03Integrated cryptocurrency payment solutions across both products
  • 04Established frontend architecture standards that each product could specialize
